Elwood I. Fox, DO

Elwood I. Fox, DO joined the practice in January 2007, and practices physiatry and osteopathic medicine in our multispecialty clinic for spine and musculoskeletal disorders. He is also an attending physician on staff at Maine Medical Center and New England Rehab Hospital of Portland. Dr. Fox received his medical degree from University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1994, and did a rotating internship followed by Internal Medicine residency at Berkshire Medical Center/University of Massachusetts. He then completed a specialty residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at JFK Johnson Rehab Institute/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School before returning to Maine to begin practice in 2001. Dr. Fox focuses on all aspects of physiatry with special emphasis on developing holistic approaches to neuromusculoskeletal disorders and their impact on an individual’s functional status and quality of life.
