"Super Glue" Wound Care

Your incision was closed with glue. All of the sutures/stitches will dissolve. The glue will eventually fall off over the course of a few weeks.

You do not need to keep the incision covered; however, we would recommend that you keep it clean.

It is okay to get the incision/glue wet, but we do not recommend that you soak it in a bath or scrub it.

Check or have someone check your incision daily. Look for signs and symptoms of infection, including redness, swelling, drainage, or any fever or chills. Call our office if you experience any of these.
